Nate + Virginia's Spring Wedding at Maymont

Nate and Virginia are one of the sweetest couples we have ever had the pleasure of working with. Nate is from New Jersey. Virginia is from Tennesse. They met years ago while attending Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church in Richmond, Virginia. They are both such genuine people and their love for each other is evident. One of the most touching moments for me, was seeing Virginia read the sweet love note that Nate wrote her right before she walked down the aisle.

It was incredibly moving to see the two of them get married in the church that they met in years ago. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful and was the perfect spot for them to become husband and wife.

Their reception took place in the afternoon at Maymont. There was TONS of lawn games including: cornhole, chess, ladder golf, and quoits. Fresh greenery in mismatched pots lined the tables and served as the centerpieces. One of the most unique aspects was Nate and Virginia's guest book. Instead of a traditional guestbook, they had guests write notes and well wishes on jenga pieces. It was such a fun and creative idea that all of the guests enjoyed taking part in.

The big surprise was when the Mrs. Yoder's doughnut truck pulled up. It was a hit! All of the guests flocked to the truck and stuffed their faces with the delicious doughnuts. I was so excited when they invited me to come inside the truck and take a few photos.
