Wedding Preview | Caroline + Sam

Well, Caroline + Sam's wedding at The Farm at Old Edwards Inn and Spa officially goes down in the books as one of my favorite weddings of all time!!! The entire weekend from start to finish was AH-MAZING!

We adventured down to North Carolina with our video team for their big day. We spent a night in Charlotte and explored the city before heading down to Highlands. I had never been to Highlands, North Carolina before and was blown away by how cute the town was. It felt like it was straight out of Gilmore Girls aka a real life Stars Hollow! There were so many little shops and cute restaurants. If you have never been, you definitely need to add it to your must-travel-to list because it's pretty much the cutest mountain town there ever was.

David and I photographed Carolina + Sam's rehearsal dinner on Friday night. It was filled with so much laughter and some of the most heartfelt speeches I have ever heard. After dinner, they had an afterparty at the Ugly Dog Pub, complete with a Bluegrass band! Everyone had a blast dancing and enjoying the party, and it gave David and I a taste of how much fun their wedding reception was going to be!

I got SO excited when we first drove up to the Farm at Old Edwards Inn. It is gorgeous!! There's an orchard, a lake, a hedged path, and gorgeous gardens. My brain was exploding with ideas for their portrait photos!

Caroline looked gorgeous in her wedding gown. It had a little bit of Marilyn Monroe vibe to it, which was so much fun!!

There was so many highlights to this wedding day - Sam's reaction when he saw Caroline walk down the aisle, Caroline jumping on stage and singing "You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman" to Sam during the reception, and the most epic first dance I have ever seen! Thank goodness we were there to video it too, so we can share each and every one of these special moments with you guys!

This wedding day was truly amazing. Here is such a little sneak peek at some of the awesomeness that took place. There's lots more photos to come in the next several weeks, and keep an eye out for their wedding video as well! Congrats to Dr. + Mrs. Ford!!!
