Laura and Nick's wedding was unlike any other we have ever photographed before. I would classify it as a "pop-up wedding". The ceremony took place at Libby Hill Park in Richmond, Virginia. The guests consisted of immediate family and close family friends. There were no chairs set up. Instead, they stood on either side of the beautiful fountain that the ceremony was to take place in front of. The bride and those closest to her pulled up on a Richmond Trolley. Laura's parents helped her off, and the three of them walked down the aisle together.
The ceremony was short, sweet, and filled with touching moments. Afterwards we took a handful of portraits, and then ALL of us hopped on the trolley. We road around to several different locations and hopped on and off to take photos. All of the guests talked and drank -- it was almost like a mobile cocktail hour. Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time.
Our last stop was Havana 59 where even more family and friends were waiting to greet and celebrate Laura and Nick. It was such a fun and unique wedding. There were mojitos, Country Style Donuts, and Barbie and Ken dolls as cake toppers. It was such a beautiful celebration of love, and David and I were so grateful to be a part of it.
