Wedding Preview | Sarah + Josh

I had been looking forward to this wedding all year! Mostly because Sarah + Josh are the sweetest couple, and The Inn at Warner Hall is one of my very favorite wedding venues. I knew it was going to be a seriously amazing day!

I had the day all planned out in my head. I knew every spot I wanted to take portraits at, I knew how I was going to take the detail shots, and I had a plan for some sunset photos.

Well, the weather decided to play some tricks on us! It downpoured and thunderstormed off and on throughout the entire day. The Inn at Warner Hall was so great about putting the rain plan into action, which meant having the ceremony at a quaint little church up the street. Sarah + Josh were such great sports about it, and really just went with the flow. They never let the rain get them down!

About an hour before the ceremony, the skies cleared and the sun popped out for a few minutes. Sarah + Josh hadn't been planning on doing a first look, but I asked them both if they wanted to take advantage of the sunlight and do a first look to get some portraits in. They both agreed, and I am so glad they did! It was one of the sweetest first looks I have ever witnessed! When Josh saw Sarah, the first words out of his mouth were "OH MY GOD! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!" There were so many happy tears, and it really was an amazing moment!

I love the photos we were able to squeeze in between patches of heavy rain. And some of the rainy umbrella shots ended up being my favorites!!

You never can fully predict what your wedding day is going to be like, but these two are proof that if you go with the flow and roll with the punches, your day will be amazing no matter what! Because at the end of the night you will walk away as husband + wife, and that's really all that matters anyways!
