Meet The Farrells

This was our last wedding of 2014, and it was a great one! Hannah + Will are hysterical. After spending 5 minutes with them, it becomes blatantly obvious that they only need each other to have good time. They had all of their guests laughing at multiple points during their reception. They really are made for each other, and it was such a beautiful thing to watch them become husband and wife.

Hannah + Will live in New York City. They love the urban feel, so The Boathouse at Rockett's Landing was the perfect backdrop for their ceremony and reception. Their wedding took place on a crisp day in late December. I loved how Hannah and her bridesmaids embraced the cold weather by wearing fur shawls over their gowns. It was such a glamorous touch and so perfect for a winter wedding. Will, was one of the most stylish grooms I have ever seen. He wore a perfectly tailored, timeless black tux accessorized with a pocket watch. I also have to give a little shout out to Hannah's mom. Her gold gown was gorgeous -- by far my favorite mother-of-the-bride outfit of all time.

Hannah + Will didn't want to see each other before the ceremony, but they decided to exchange gifts. This was such a great idea, and gave the two of them a few quiet moments together before they said I do. Definitely a great alternative to a first look.

Hannah walked down the aisle escorted by her younger brother. Their ceremony took place right in front of the Richmond skyline just before sunset, and it was picture perfect. After the ceremony, the wedding party and family posed for photos as the sun was starting to set. It was pretty cold out, but no one seemed to mind.

After photos, everyone headed inside and watched as Hannah + Will were announced as Mr. + Mrs. Farrell for the first time. It was a reception filled with laughter, delicious food, and so much dancing. Congratulations to Hannah + Will!
