Ashton + Craig had a very Richmond wedding with a Scottish twist!!This wedding was an extra special one for us because not only did I got to high school + college with Craig, one of our past couples (David + Kate) were in the wedding party!
Craig's family is Scottish, and incorporating his hertiage was very important to them. Craig + his groomsmen traded in suits for kilts and they swapped traditional ceremony music for bag pipes! It was such a fun touch and made the day much more personalized. Before the ceremony all of the groomsmen were treated to some incredibly rare scotch flown in from Scotand! I must say the guys had ALOT of fun with their kilts. Some of the groomen photos are pretty hilarious.
Their ceremony took place at the historic Monuental Church. After the ceremony + family photos, we realized we were way ahead of schedule. So all of us hopped on the party bus and drove around the city. We got off the bus at Libby Hill Park for some super fun photos. Craig + Ashton popped a special bottle of champagne toasted to newlywed bliss! A little girl in the park saw Ashton in her wedding dress and thought she was a real princess! She came up and asked us to take a photo of her with princess, and my heart melted a little.
This was such a fun day for two truly wonderful people. Congratulations to Mr. + Mrs. Paxton!
