Church Hill Newborn Shoot

Last May we photographed Laura + Nick's wedding, and this June they gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Little Mila is sweet as can be. I was amazed by how calm Laura was with her. She'd only been a mom for about 2 weeks and already seemed to have the whole mom thing down!

With our newborn photos we've really been trying to keep things as natural as possbile. We shot these near Laura's front door and used all of that gorgeous natural light to create the moody tones in these photos. We really wanted to emphasize the connection between parents and baby to show what a special time this is. Not only are babies cute as can be, but the love between parents and their little one is an equally beautiful thing to capture.
