At home newborn shoots always strike a chord with me. They aren't about the overly posed pinterest photos, they are raw and real. They showcase the excitement of new parents celebrating the new family they have created. I find it so much more meaningful to document a new family in their home as opposed to a forgein setting. Especailly when your home and nursery is as gorgeous as the Hamlin family's!

Baby Austin was born just before Christmas and brought so much light into the wold. Her little fingers and toes, and sweet little smile have completely melted her parent's hearts. These moments are so fleeting, and it was such an honor to photograph this time for them.

Holly perfectly decorated Austin's sweet nursery down to the very last detail. I could not get over how well she intertwined colors and textures to create a nursery that is both soothing and inviting.

Little Austin was sweet as can be during her session. She happily let her parents dote on her and show her all kinds of love. Congratulations to the Hamlin family, and welcome to the world little Austin!
