2015 Gingerbread House Contest

Every year, my mother-in-law hosts arguably the BEST gingerbread house contest this side of the Appalachians. This team based competition starts with a gingerbread house kit, a timer, and secret ingredients. Teams work together to create one of a kind masterpieces that can only be comparable to the creations of Duff Goldman. Once the clock runs out, the teams then present their magical creations to the judges. From there, each house undergoes rigorous judging which leads to an ultimate champion. 

With warmer than usual conditions this year, many competitors struggled to have their structures dry in time for judging. This added drama and newly added players created the most ultimate fight for VICTORY! Here are some pictures from this glorious event!
