Outdoor Newborn Photos with the Turk Family

An outdoor newborn shoot! Why have we not done this before?! With all of the craziness going on in the world, Samantha + Kent didn't think a shoot in their home seemed like the right fit. So, we took things outdoors to the same spot we took their maternity photos - which made the shoot even more meaningful.

The light was gorgeous and we photographed in some of the same exact spots where we took their maternity photos a few short weeks before. We were able to take a beautiful mix of photos for this new family of three!

I also had Samantha bring a boppy and a neutral toned blanket to take some solo shots of their little one on her own! Kent held up the back of the blanket, which created a simple backdrop and gave those photos a studio feel.

It really is amazing what you can come up with when you have to think outside the box. I could not be happier with how this shoot turned out - and fingers crossed for many more adorable outdoor newborn shoots in our future!
