David and I have wanted to do a shoot like this for a while now. We started a blog a couple months back called Lace in Light that is solely dedicated to boudoir photography. So many talented photographers have sent us submissions, and we were getting inspired by each and everyone of them.
It made us want to push our boudoir work to a new level and try something totally different. Luckily we had some amazing people help us make our idea come together. Carolyn Royce agreed to be our model. She is an insanely talented yoga instructor and someone who is always open to trying something new. She is absolutely gorgeous, and this shoot would not have been able to happen without her beautiful self and willing spirit!
Whenever we need some florals for one of our shoots, The Green Flamingo is always the first person we call. We share some of our ideas and inspirations with Alexis, and she runs with it always exceeding our expectations. I LOVE LOVE LOVED this flower crown. The bright, bold tones really made these photos pop!
And lastly, we have to give a huge thank you to Kestle Boudoir. She is a talented lingerie design who makes these adorable little lace matching sets. She sent us a few pairs all the way from London to use in this shoot. Her lingerie tied the entire shoot together, and we can't thank her enough! Head to her Etsy shop to see more of her gorgeous creations!
David and I loved bringing boudoir outside. There was something so earthy and natural about it. Boudoir and nature seem to want to go together hand in hand. It's something that we are starting to offer to all of our clients. We find a quiet, secluded location and let your inner goddess shine. It was such a fun experience, and we could not be happier with the results. Take a look at our boudoir page if you are interested in setting up a shoot of your very own!
Enjoy the photos!
