I'm a firm believer that when you meet "your person" you know right away. You might not know that you're going to get married, but you can feel just how special that connection is and instantly tell that there is something special. At least that's how it was for me, and from all the wedding toasts and stories I heard that's how it was for Kirsten + Kevin as well.
Kirsten + Kevin met at a wedding three years ago. Kevin was the best man and Kirsten was the maid of honor. Sparks flew instantly and the next day Kevin was telling his friends he was in love. Well fast forward a few years, and everyone was at a wedding again, but this time it was to celebrate Kirsten + Kevin.
They got married on St. Patrick's day at the Cathedral of the Sacred heart. Their ceremony was gorgeous and filled with stories about how they first met and their relationship. Kirsten stunned everyone when she walked down the aisle in her vintage inspired beaded wedding gown and Kevin looked pretty good himself in a navy suit and custom bowtie.
After the ceremony, we adventured over to Capitol square to take some photos. All of the white and marble acted as a perfect reflector for the light and created some extremely elegant wedding photos. Then, the real fun began as we headed to Hermitage Country Club for their reception. Kirsten + Kevin's wedding band, For The Win, was phenomenal and had EVERYONE out on the dance floor the entire night. I don't think anyone had quite as much fun as Kirsten + Kevin did though. They had giant smiles plastered to their faces the entire night, and Kevin even grabbed the mic and started rapping for the crowd at one point. Yeah, their wedding was pretty awesome and I am so honored we got to be a small part of it. Congratulations to the new Mr. + Mrs. Mullaney!
