Bridal details are always the first thing I photograph on a wedding day. I am talking about the dress, the rings, the shoes, the bouquets, the invitations - all of that good stuff!
To me it's the little things that tie everything together and truly tell the story. Weddings move quickly though and because of that, there is never a ton of time to spend photographing these little details. I always tell our brides to have all of the details they'd like photographed in a bag waiting for me when I arrive. That way I can just grab that bag and go!
In my camera bag I pack a few styling tools to help make the details really shine. I have vintage stamps, silk ribbons in a variety of colors, velvet ring boxes, and loose fabrics.
Here is a little mash-up of some favorite detail shots from over the years. Hopefully it will give you a little inspiration!
