Caitlin + Keegan's Anniversary Session

David and I have known Caitlin + Keegan since high school. We were all really into theater and had so much fun putting on the school plays. Caitlin, Keegan, and I loved to act and David was the backstage techie doing the lighting and being the stage manager. 

When these two got married 5 years ago, it was such a blast! David and I were guests at their wedding...we were only dating at the time... and it was one of the most fun nights we have ever had together. It was such an awesome wedding celebrating these two amazing people, and we were so lucky to get to witness the start of something so special.

Well 5 years have passed since then, and Caitlin's mom contacted us because she wanted to give these two an anniversary shoot to celebrate their 5 year wedding anniversary! Caitlin + Keegan live in DC and thought it'd be fun to have their photos taken near their home in Logan Circle. We explored the streets and alleyways all around their neighborhood and stopped at lots of fun and quirky spots along the way.

It's always great when you get to photograph people you know because you can really tell when their personality is coming through in the photos. Caitlin + Keegan totally rocked their shoot, and we had so much fun exploring DC with them. 

After the shoot, Caitlin took me to West Elm because there was a store right up the street, and I was in furniture heaven. Then we headed to when of their favorite spots and grabbed some burgers and beers! Such a perfect evening!
