Anna + Trent's Wedding at Historic Tredegar Iron Works

Let's just start by saying that this wedding was awesome. I have known Anna for several years and was so excited when she announced she was getting married, and asked us to photograph her wedding. Anna and Trent's wedding took place at the Historic Tredegar Iron Works in Richmond, Virginia. 

Anna and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready at Avenue 42 and sipping on champagne, while the boys got dressed at Tredegar. Just before the start of the ceremony, the weather took a turn and it started thunderstorming. It just shows you that no matter how much you prepare, you have to be ready for the unexpected. The fabulous staff at CCS Events and Tredegar Iron Works moved quickly into plan B and did a beautiful job. Anna and Trent didn't let the rain bother them. I think the rain added an extra element of excitement and anticipation. 

Once the rain let up, we were able to take some portraits of Anna and Trent along the James River. It was the perfect backdrop for their wedding portraits.

The reception was filled with non-stop dancing and so much laughter. Every single guest seemed to be having the time of their lives. My favorite part of the night was when Anna nailed Trent in the face with a cupcake.
