Beth + Blakely's At Home Engagement Shoot

Beth + Blakely are a super sweet couple with two insanely cute pups. Like really SO cute. I was in heaven. Beth + Blakely were unsure if they wanted to do engagement photos at first because they really wanted to keep things laid back and simple. Ultimately, we all came to the conclusion that an at-home engagement session was right up their ally. 

I love at-home shoots because there is always such a relaxed vibe about them. You are in your place with your people and your pets. They are cozy and laid back and usually, couples feel a little more comfortable because they are literally at home.

There is also something really special about documenting these fleeting moments especially at the start of your life together. Chances are as your relationship grows, so will your family, and so will your space. You probably won't be in that adorable two bedroom house, just the two of you forever. It's so nice to not only have photos of the two of you during this super special engagement period, but also of the place it all began. 20 years from now I know Beth + Blakely are going to love looking back on the memories they made in this home together.

This was an insanely fun shoot for us because we are crazy dog obsessed people - and so are they. When Beth + Blakely got engaged, Beth got an engagement ring....and Blakely got an engagement puppy. An adorable golden retriever named Annie. We had so much fun running around their backyard playing with their sweet pups and snapping photos. While I was editing these photos, I think I told David 1,000 times - I NEED ANOTHER A PUPPY!!! 

I hope you guys enjoy this sweet session as much as I do!! This is real life, and it is BEAUTIFUL!
