Baby Mason's At Home Newborn Shoot

I wish I could put into words how much it means to us when our brides + grooms tell us they are expecting and ask us to photograph the sweet family they have made together. When we photograph a wedding, we not only spend the whole day with the bride + groom - we also spend the day getting to know their entire family and closest friends. So by the end of the night, I always feel a little attached. I have close friends, whose grandparents I've never met - but with our wedding couples we get to know their entire family. It's pretty special. And that's why I was so excited for this shoot!!

We photographed Katie + Alexander's wedding in Charlottesville last August, and I was thrilled when they announced that they were pregnant with their first little baby!! Well guys, this is baby Mason!! He's so sweet and tiny, and it was amazing to see Katie + Alexander become parents. It's only been a few weeks and they already seem like pros.

We had so much fun taking photos of this cute little guy and documenting all of the love between the three of them. Mason is so blessed to be so loved!!
