Jacqueline + Dean's Rainy Engagement Shoot at Maymont

Jacqueline + Dean are engaged! These two have so many mutual friends, it is amazing they never met years ago. Well the stars finally aligned and now they are planning a wedding for this April!

It was completely sunny out and the weather was gorgeous at the start of their engagement session, then out of nowhere a thunderstorm blew through unexpectedly! WHAT?! We were mid-shoot, but thank goodness Jacqueline + Dean were so easy going. We found a little spot to stay out of the rain while the storm passed, and were even able to capture a few fun rainy day photos in the process.

But hey, that's life. It's going to rain. Thunderstorms are going to happen. Unexpected obstacles are going to pop up. It's all about how you embrace the rain and get through those ups and downs together. Jacqueline + Dean could not have had better attitudes or been more optimistic about this little bump in the road, and I think that speaks volumes about their releationship. Not to mention their rainy day photos turned out to be SO romantic and are some of my favs!

Congratulations to Jacqueline + Dean!! We cannot wait to do both photo + video for their wedding in April!
