Emelie + Rob's Wedding at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens

Emelie + Rob are married!! This was our second wedding for the Duke family, and it was such a joy to photograph. We saw so many familiar faces and had the best time documenting Emelie + Rob's wedding day.

Emelie + Rob are incredibly family oriented, and they soaked up every second of their wedding day! They truly made their day their own from the music selection to the sentimental touches to even making one of all their all time favorite comfort foods - PRETZELS - a big part of their day! And I mean the whole pretzeles and "tying the knot" thing just goes together way so perfectly. More people need to take a note out of their playbook!

These two opted to do a first look before their ceremony, and I am so glad they did. Rob's reaction when he saw Emelie for the first time was priceless. Those first few moments together are always one of my favorite parts of a wedding day. It's so raw and real and emotional. And it aways seems to put brides and grooms at ease.

Rob had been planning their honeymoon in secret for months as a suprise to Emelie. My very favorite part of their wedding day was during their portraits before the ceremony when Rob whispered into Emelie's ear where they would be going. Her jaw literally dropped and she was giddy with excitement!

It was so wonderful to be a part of another Duke wedding and to see these two so head over heels in love with each other!
