Richmond Virginia Family Photos with Adult Children at Byrd Park

Most people make a point to have family photos taken every year when their children are young, but once they hit middle school and high school family photos pretty much become nonexistent. It's hard to get grown children with busy lives all together for a family photo!

In my own family, the last time we took a formal family photo I was 10 years old. And I'm a photographer! How crazy is that?! Time passes fast and if you can find a way to get the whole family together for an hour, do it!!

With this sweet family we were able to do all sorts of combinations that included the whole family together, photos of their newly engaged son and son to be daughter-in-law, couples photos of the parents, a solo of each child, and some with "just the boys" and "just the girls."

At the end of the day, family is what matters most! So make sure you find time for photos!
