Our New Active Service Member Discounts

Last week we held a Facebook boudoir contest. To enter, one of the steps was to fill out a form that told us more about each contestant. We had around 400 entries and a very large percentage of our contestants were military spouses. Not having ever had a direct connection to anyone in active service, we had never really put much thought to how hard active service life is - not only for the one serving but also for the individuals they left at home. There are so many factors that make active service so difficult for those left behind, from simply missing their loved one, to the fear and uncertainty over their location and safety, to having to constantly work on their relationship with distance between them, to struggling to run the family on your own.

Reading all of these stories really moved us, and we wanted to do something to give back. Our skill is documenting life through images. We can use this skill to help these families stay connected while creating new fun memories.

We decided to offer discounted shoots for our active service members and their spouses. We added a discounted boudoir shoot for spouses to send to their loved one and a dicounted portrait session. These sessions can be for the engagements, kids photos, or family portraits.
