Jada's 30th Birthday in Quarantine

Welp, I am officially 30! I had been feeling weird about this birthday for a while. I am usually not one to make a big deal about my birthday, but something about turning 30 was so scary to me that I really wanted to make sure I did something special to celebrate it. 

So, we booked a trip. A two week long birthday trip all over Italy. The plan was to be sitting along the Amalfi Coast drinking white wine, stuffing my face with pasta, and watching the sun set as I transitioned into the next decade of my life.

Obviously that trip got canceled, and we celebrated from our cozy little home instead! David was so sweet. He woke me up with coffee in bed, and when I came downstairs he had the whole place decorated. He went on a major Etsy shopping spree and had every 30th birthday inspired decoration you could imagine - include a "Vintage 1990" t-shirt for me to wear.

As one of my birthday gifts, he got me a beautiful set of Away Luggage as a reminder that I might not be on my Italian vacation right now - but it will happen, and I'll look stylish traveling when it does!

I had a great day filled with puppy kisses, walks in the sunshine, a good book, and some rose!

I have definitely come along way in the past 10 years (if you knew me at 20, you would definitely agree!), and I am really proud of the confident, self-assured person the past 30 years have molded me into, and I am excited to see what the next decade holds!
