Lauren + Scott's University Of Virginia Engagement Session

I'm a proud UVA grad, and I'm always looking for an excuse to hop in the car and drive up 64 to Charlottesville! I was ecstatic when Lauren + Scott not only asked us to photograph their wedding, but to take their engagement photos at UVA as well! 

Lauren + Scott met at UVA, but their love didn't start to blossom until after they both had graduated. Needless to say, UVA has a very special place in their hearts so it was the perfect place to take their engagement photos.

Fall in Charlottesville is crazy gorgeous - Let's be honest, Charlottesville is always gorgeous - but the fall leaves and the crisp air take it to a whole new level. It also just so happened to be Lauren's birthday the day of the shoot, which made things even more special!

These two were such naturals in front of the camera. They laughed, teased each other, and really let their personalities shine through. We stuck pretty close to the Lawn but were able to capture so much versatility and tons of golden light. I love how these photos turned out and cannot wait to watch these two tie the knot in 2017!
