Weddings come in all shapes and sizes. Most of the time we are out photographing large weddings of 150 people or more, but it is always so much fun for us when we have the opportunity to photograph elopements and small weddings. There is always such a special energy about elopements. Everything is so relaxed and laidback, but it is also incredibly powerful to witness such an intimate expression of love.
Stacy + Tommy decided to tie the knot on a gorgeous fall day in September at the Historic Hanover Court House. It was the first time David and I had ever been out that way, and we loved it. It had such a quaint, historic feel. You never would have guessed that you were actually at a court house. There were also so many beautiful trees lining the property and lots of brick accents. It made for a beautiful backdrop for their wedding portraits.
The only people in attendance were some of Stacy + Tommy's closest friends and family members. We took a handful of group shots and family photos then ventured off to do some fun portaits of the newly weds. Congratulations to Stacy + Tommy!
