Anna + Jeremy's Backyard Wedding

Anna and Jeremy are probably one of the most fun couples we have ever gotten to work with. They are so full of life and are constantly making each other laugh. We knew if their wedding reflected their personalities at all, that it was going to be an absolute blast.

The ceremony took place in Anna’s parent’s backyard in Bon Air, Virginia. Anna and Jeremy wanted their wedding to be very laid back and for guests to thoroughly enjoy themselves. They had a cocktail area set up in the front yard so that guests could grab a drink before heading to the ceremony.

The ceremony was beautiful. Anna and Jeremy wrote their own vows, which evoked both laughter and tears. They even read an excerpt from one of their favorite childhood books, The Velveteene Rabbit. The ceremony was a perfect reflection of the two of them as a couple.

Before heading to their reception at Old City Bar, they followed the southern wedding tradition of digging up the bourbon. They had a blast doing it and shared some shots of bourbon with their family and the wedding party.

Anna and Jeremy’s reception at Old City Bar was one for the books. There were heartfelt speeches, tequila shots, and SO much dancing. I think it’s safe to say that Anna & Jeremy had the absolute best time celebrating with everyone.
