Anna + Sam's Fall Engagement Shoot on The James

These two are adorable! Anna + Sam recently got engaged, and we were so excited to take some engagement photos for them. We headed to one of David's favorite spots along The James River to take their photos. The river was so low that you could almost walk all the way across. We were able to find some really unique spots that we wouldn't have been able to reach if the river was higher.

Music is a big part of Anna + Sam's lives, so Sam brought his guitar along for the shoot. He strummed on the guitar, and all of us enjoyed the soft serenade. To be completely honest, I was proobaly awkwardly bobbing my head to the music as I took some of these :) It was a really fun shoot.

It started to drizzle a little towards the end of the shoot, but Anna + Sam didn't let that bother them in the slightest. They were both so natural and relaxed in front of the camera, and it was a complete joy to photograph them. They are such a sweet couple, and we wish them all the best!
