Ever wondered who answers the phone when you call 911? Well, it's these two! Adam + Danielle met seven years ago while working at a restaurant in Chesapeake, Virginia. Early in their relationship, they both volunteered as EMTs for a rescue squad in Virginia Beach, so for several years they spent many of their weekends together on an ambulance. And now these two both work in Emergency communications.
Danielle + Adam wanted their engagement photos taken in Norfolk, Virginia. Since we are not totally familiar with that area, we left all of the location scouting up to the two of them. And I have to say they knocked it out of the park!
Danielle wanted their photos to have a classic and elegant vibe and because most of her inspiration came from shoots that took place in Brooklyn, NY she knew she had to find a charming cobblestone street. The Freemason district in Norfolk was the perfect location. It was filled with so much historic charm. We had the best time exploring and we even wandered into a quaint macaroon shop for a few photos!
For their second location, we headed to the Waterside district to soak up some water views just before sunset. The light was gorgeous! What made this location even more special is that it's where Danielle + Adam shared their first kiss many moons ago.
These two totally rocked their session! I loved their style and their easy-going personalities. After the shoot, we all headed to a rooftop bar overlooking the bay for some drinks!
