Stephanie + Brad's Engagement Shoot in a Graveyard

Remember that engagement contest we held a few months ago? Well, these are the winners! We loved how honest and unique Stephanie + Brad's love story was, and knew that we wanted to photograph them!

At our wedding, our officiant read the Dr. Seuss quote, “We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.”

That quote has always resonated with me because at the end the day, I think that's all we are really searching for. I'm definitely my own kind of crazy, and finding David, who compliments by craziness and adds to it in all the best ways is truly some kind of miracle.

Stephanie + Brad have definitely found their other half in each other, and it is a beautiful kind of love. These two are horror fans who have their house decked out for Halloween year round. When we were brainstorming for their shoot, we definietly wanted to play that up. The odditied shop Rest in Pieces and Riverview Cemetery provided the perfect setting for this romantic + spooky session.

I could not be more excited by how these photos turned out! These two truly made this shoot their own, and that's really all a photographer can hope for at the end of the day!
