Throughout our journey to 100 shoots, we have been challenging ourselves with our lighting setups. For this shoot the goal was to photograph a shoot in our studio that felt like an outdoor shoot on a sunny day.
To create the mood of an ethereal laundry studio shoot, we painted the floor a pale green, the walls a light blue, and we purchased light pink sheets to create a pastel aesthetic.
This was our largest set to date. it took up more than half of our studio.
Morgan really embraced the concept and got into character portraying a woman who is exhausted and tired of doing laundry.
Towards the end of the shoot, we had Morgan jump between the rows of sheets and used a fan on her to create the effect of the sheets blowing in the wind. We blast light directly at her to allude to bright sunshine aroud mid-day. These ended up being some of the strongest images from the shoot.
I love what we were able to achieve, and I am so pleased with how this one turned out!
