Kenica + Bryon's Film Engagement Photography Session

In college I majored in Photography (go figures, right?!) and EVERYTHING we did was in film. I didn't use a professional digital camera until I was 22. Well, after I graduated I switched over to digital photography because I didn't have access to all of the state-of-the-art film processing equipment + scanners needs to develop color film. It had been over 7 years, since I shot a roll of film but when Kenica + Bryon requested it for their engagement shoot, I couldn't say no.

Long story short I LOVED it! I had no idea how much I missed film until I shot this roll. These photos are similar to the digital ones I shot for them in the same location, but film has a softer look, different color tone, and slight grain that cannot be replicated. 

We now give all of our couples the option to add on a roll of film to their wedding + engagement shoots!
