Photography becomes an addiction. David and I want to take pictures of anything and everything and keep pushing ourselves to try new things. This was our first time ever doing a fashion photography shoot, and I have to admit I was a little nervous about it. I wanted to make sure I showed off the clothing and accessories while still taking strong portraits. I'm pretty happy with the way it all came together.
We teamed up with the girls at The Crystal Press, Rebecca Ott and Catherine Claire, to make this shoot happen. They run a Richmond based fashion blog and did all of the styling for this shoot. Catherine Claire was brave enough to step in front of the camera and model the looks. It was obnoxiously cold and windy out, but she was able to make it look effortless. Rebecca was a huge help during the shoot. She adjusted the looks when necessary and most importantly made Catherine laugh. The word "prune" is my new favorite word to use during a shoot all because of her.
If you like these photos be sure to check out their fashion blog The Crystal Press as well as both Rebecca and Catherine's personal blogs for more fashion inspiration.
