60s Inspired Studio Editorial Fashion Shoot

The bright side of 2020 is that it has given us a chance to play in the studio! Throughout our pre-COVID travels, whenever we saw a cool piece of clothing we'd purchase it and plan to do a fun shoot with it later. Well later, has finally arrived.

During our last trip to Los Angeles, we were taken to a funky retro thrift store called Hidden Treasures in Topanga. We found some handmade 60's inspired pieces that we had to have including this amazing maxi dress. We purchased the "baby blue" seamless paper backdrop from Savage Universal, and it really brought out the turquoise hues of the dress. 

The hair + makeup team transformed Ally into a 60's beauty, and she completely rocked the look. We had so much fun exploring new poses and lighting techniques. This shoot really got our creativity flowing, and I cannot wait to get back in the studio for another fun session!
