Wedding Preview | Ryan + Dave

I was a little extra excited for Ryan + Dave's wedding day because Ryan is one of my friends from high school! I am so happy that she found Dave because he truly makes her shine. I've never seen her happier or more confident. Dave's face literally lights up every time Ryan walks into the room, and it is blatantly obvious just how in love these two are.

They had an incredibly elegant wedding at The Commonwealth Club in downtown Richmond. Ryan + Dave decided to do a first look before their ceremony and wanted to have all of their portraits taken before hand, so we headed to the rooftop of The Graduate Hotel right next door. These are some of my very favorite wedding portraits because the rooftop pool and skyline views give their photos such a unique feel. You almost don't feel like your in Richmond when you're up there.

Ryan is probably the only other person I know who loves Gilmore Girls are much as I do, and I couldn't contain my excitement after their first kiss as they walked up the aisle and the Gilmore Girls theme song started playing. It was too perfect!

I always love shooting at The Commonwealth Club because the ballroom is decked out so elegantly. The Lighting Professors do such a fabulous job lighting the space, and it really sets the mood for the entire evening.

This day was such a joy to photograph and there is so much more to come! Congratulations to Mr. + Mrs. Sells!
