Sometimes too much is happening in your life when a baby is born to make a newborn shoot happen. These guys were in the middle of a giant home renovation when their little guy arrived, so taking at home newborn photos back in October was out of the question.

Silas is almost six months old now, their home reno is complete, and their house looks gorgeous - so it was the perfect time for a carefree, lazy Sunday family shoot.

We read books, played on the floor, and Silas's fur siblings (Playa and Ellie) gave him lots of kisses. Then half way through the shoot, exhaustion got the best of him and Silas passed out into what looked like the most peaceful sleep. We moved him all around snapping super sweet photos, and he looked as content as he could possibly be.

This shoot ended up being one of the most fun and relaxed sessions - so even if things are too crazy to make a newborn shoot happen, just wait a few months. They will still be just as cute!
