Happy 80th Birthday Grandpa!

I just had to give a little shoutout to my Grandpa because today is his 80th birthday! He was a marine, an amazing dad, and the best grandfather I ever could have asked for.  Today is such a fitting day for me to remember his service to our country and all of the selfless things he has done for me and my brother and sister throughout our entire lives.

Last week we spent a few days at the river with my entire family celebrating his and my grandma's 80th birthdays (she turns 80 in 2 weeks). Even my Uncle from Arizona showed up to surprise them, and they were blown away. We grilled, ate lots and lots of oysters, got a little sun, and sat by the fire. It was a perfect three days of family. We were enjoying ourselves so much that we hardly took any photos.

I love my grandparents to pieces. They have always had my back when I needed them. They showed up to every play, art show, recital, and birthday party I ever had. When my parents would go out of town they were the ones who'd come take care of us. They made it possible for me to travel all over Europe and spend a semester studying abroad. They are two of the best people I know. Happy Birthday Grandpa!! Here's to 80 and many more!! I love you so much!!
