The Initial Email

The best way to reach out is through email. In that email, share with us the reason for wanting the shoot, what package you are most interested in, and your overall vision for the shoot - Do you want fun and playful, super sexy, both?!

Location

All of our boudoir shoots take place on location. We will come to your home, your favorite hotel, a fun airbnb, or even a studio you rented on Peerspace.

The New Client Form

Once we get your session booked, I will send you a new client form to fill out. On that form you will have the opportunity to tell us about yourself, share your vision for the shoot, describe your body type, and let us know if there are any specific features you would like to highlight. It also allows you to link a pinterest board with photos that inspire you. It is important to take some time filling this out because it really helps us tailor the shoot to your unique needs.

The Deposit

At the end of the new client form, you will be prompted to pay a deposit to reserve your session. The deposit is non-refundable and goes towards the total cost of your shoot.

Choosing Outfits

Confidence is key with boudoir shoots, so you want to choose outfits you feel confident in. Go to a store or order a bunch of different outfits online and try them all on. See what flatters your body most and makes you feel the most confident. Not every outfit has to be revealing lingerie either. Oversized sweaters, pj sets, and overalls can all make for some very fun and sexy boudoir photos.

Try to bring looks that showcase different sides of your personality. It is great to bring accessories, shoes, and jewelry too. If you are unsure what to wear, bring a few looks with you, and I will help you put together looks that will photograph well and highlight your assets.

The most important thing is to choose outfits that fit properly - to achieve the best results make sure clothing items are not too large or too small.

Preparing For The Shoot

Having boudoir photos taken is a big milestone. We highly recommend making a full day of it. Make sure to get plenty of sleep the night before. Stay hydrated. Paint your nails. Consider getting your hair + makeup done. Pack your bag with your outfits the night before. You want to feel your best the day of the shoot so try to eliminate any extra stress you can.

Avoid wearing any tight fitting clothing or undergarments the day of your shoot as they can leave marks on your skin.

We encourage you to bring a robe to cover yourself as we adjust lights or the set.

The Shoot

We will blast Beyonce or whatever music you love to help you relax! I start every shoot by taking a few test shots to help ease you in and get you feeling comfortable.

Good lighting is everything! David will professionally light each scene to highlight every curve and help make you look your best.

I will guide you through each pose and give you specific instructions on your facial expressions and body movements. Don’t be surprised if I lay on the floor myself to demonstrate things! I will be your cheerleader throughout the entire session giving you plenty of feedback and direction. We will work through a series of different poses to create diversity and find your most flattering angles.
