What should you wear to your engagement shoot? We get this question A LOT. You want your engagement photos to reflect your personality as a couple and your unique sense of style. Basically, you want these photos to feel like you. I never like to tell anyone exactly what they should wear, but here are a few tips to helping you choose the best outfits.
You want to wear an outfit that will compliment your location. For example, if you are going to be outdoors or in a rustic setting, I'd avoid high heels and dress a little more casual.
You want to look your best in these photos, and part of that is making sure you feel comfortable. If you normally dress more on the casual side, don't try to dress up for these photos. Just be yourself.
Solid colors tend to photograph better than heavy patterns do. If one of you does decide to wear a pattern, make sure your partner wears a solid color to avoid clashing.
You want to make sure the two of you wear colors that look good together. If one of you chooses to wear a bright color, I'd suggest your partner wear a more neutral tone to balance it out.
The camera just isn't a huge fan of neon colors. They tend to reflect a strong hue on your faces during the photos.
