Our 3 Year Anniversary

Three years ago today, September 28, 2013 David and I got married! When I look back on it now, I think oh my god I was such a baby! I was only 23 when we got married, and a young 23 at that, but I'd never been so sure of anything. In all honesty, if David would have proposed to me a week after we started dating, I probably would have said yes. I fell so head-over-heels in love with him so fast.

We were so young when we got married, and we had absolutely nothing figured out. No money. No plan. But we had each other...and Nala. There have been a lot of bumps in the road and unexpected turns, but we've always been able to ground each other out, take a breath, and move forward.

I love the life we have built together. Literally, every night before I fall asleep, I lay there counting my blessings and saying a little thank you. By far the greatest blessing and the greatest gift I have ever received is David. He has made my life so happy and so much more complete than I ever could have imagined.

So here's to 3 years and counting! I cannot wait to look back 50 years from now on the life we will have built together, but here's some of my favorite moment so far!
