Ashley + Matt's Yorktown Engagement Photos

David and I love getting to adventure beyond Richmond for shoots. Nothing gets your creativity flowing like new scenery does. So, we were super excited to head to Gloucester and Yorktown for Ashley + Matt's engagement shoot!

We started the shoot at Ashley's parent's river house. The grey skies and water views really helped set the tone for this super fun and romantic session. These two totally embraced all of our input and direction. They were able to forget about the camera and just enjoy each other!  We got to play with their pup Kairo too!

They did an outfit change, and all four of us headed to Yorktown. David and I hadn't spent much time in Yorktown before, so it was really fun to explore all of the historic streets with Ashley + Matt. 

I love the energy and emotion in these photos. These two totally rocked their session! We are SO excited for their wedding in June!!
